Guide Dog Users of New York is an organization for blind and visually-impaired people who work with dogs as guides and others interested in the guide dog movement.

Promoting the responsible handling of guide dogs through advocacy, peer- support and public education


Our Next Meeting

The next meeting of GDUNY, will be on Saturday, May 13, 2006 from 1-3:30 pm.
The meeting will be in the Auditorium of Selis Manor, 135 West 23rd Street, Manhattan.

We are please to have a special speaker, Dr. Deborah Greco, a staff endocrinologist at the Animal Medical Center

Dr. Greco will discuss the past and future of the hospital's guide dog program. She will also tell us about a weight reduction program -- the Catkins Diet -- they are working with and will answer questions.
